The Shepherd’s Hut

The end of 2020 saw the arrival of our Shepherd’s Hut to a secluded spot in the garden. A perfect glamping get away.

Originally Shepherds huts were designed for the shepherd to sleep sideways in and shelter from the storms during lambing. We decided to give you a little more luxury.

The equipped kitchen has a small fridge, small gas oven/grill & hob and sink with cold running water – warm it up with the whistling kettle on the hob.

A fold away table & chairs give space to sit and eat when the weather isn’t great, otherwise you can cook outside at the fire pit.

The double bed sleeps 2 and can fold away to make a sofa if you want a bit more space during the day.

There is an ‘outdoor’ gas shower & composting toilet to experience off-grid living.

Bedding & towels are provided. There is an electricity supply to the hut – enough to charge a phone or ipad but not enough for hairdryers etc. And to help you have a proper get away we are wifi free!

There is plenty of space to put up a tent if you’re travelling with children or household bubble, contact us for rates.
